Monsanto is back in the news, but not in a way they like much.
The company has admitted to bribing Indonesian officials from 1997-2002. Why? To try and avoid environmental reporting on their GE cotton.
In the US, they’ve sued 147 farmers and “aggressively investigated” thousands more.
Back here, Monsanto has applied for three new GE varieties to be approved as human foods.
